Taiwan 2011 - Ximending
#1 Most of the shoes we bought & wore are flats; a pair of comfy ballet flats is going to ease the long walking journey.
#2 Caeser Park, the hotel we stayed. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Taipei! Excellent location, very close to all public transports.
#3 It tempted me and I lost again. Boo... caffeine junkie!
#4 But it tasted toooooo good, you can easily grab one at 7-11 (and there are three 7-11 located right next to my hotel, what to do @.@).
#5 Chean & Sis getting their virgin shot at Xi Men Ding.

#8
#9
#10 How cool!
#11 the well-known theater street...
#12 *\^____^/*
#13 The most anticipated local food but also the most DISAPPOINTED one, 阿宗麵線 (Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle).
#14 It's actually vermicelli noodles... Tasted so so, honestly my sis & I do not like it at all, we trashed most of it.
#15 But Chean said he was kinda ok with it *bleh*
Then, horror thing happened after our visit to this grotesquely awful Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle (it wasn't that bad, maybe just us, sorry), I was attacked by heat stroke (I think), almost fainted on the street. Jeez, I don't think you can stand the weather either, it was 36'C and three of us were walking around Ximending without umbrella. How genius! It was dehydration that killed me on the first day, then nausea, fever and diarrhea on the 2nd & 3rd day. Déjà vu, Hawaii.

Geramnya.
I missed all the fun in Taipei and ruined Chean & my sis Taiwan trip too. I'm terribly sorry, the feeling of guilt buried me alive although I didn't mention that (was too sick).
#16 To compensate their "loss", I belanja them makan at 天外天火锅 (Tian Wai Tian Steamboat/hot pot).
#17 Wondrous array of foods...
#18 According to them, they ordered tomato & spicy (麻辣) soup base.
#19
#20
#21 Ya, just two of them dinning at the restaurant; I was resting at hotel T______T
#22 And for some reasons, Chean looked startlingly drunk and surprisingly happy when I was not around. Hmm...
I'm gonna call him to find out why, guess that's all for today. I'll see you again tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
Good day,
Bev
