Not-so-aloha
Trying to blog with my fancy long nails via Chean's iPhone to give all our friends & families a quick snapshot about how we doing in Hawaii so far.
Well, it sucks.
Seriously, this is classically the worst holiday we've ever had.
First, I got sick as soon as I touched down Honolulu, vomited uncountable times all the way from the airport to Entreprise (the place where we rent our car) to Moana Surfrider (the gorgeous 4-5stars-ish hotel). I naively thought it was air sickness and acted too smart by taking two Tylenol (something similar to Panadol but slightly stronger) straightaway, hoping all the illnesses will be gone by the time I get up.
However, it started to get worse, I can't even drink or eat anything. Whatever that passed through my throat will automatically come out from my mouth, even just plain water. Then I started to get diarrhea, high fever, nausea, dizziness and bodyache.
Hawaii is a paradise supposedly, but I felt like I've just sent myself to the hell.
I insisted to be my own doctor, trying super hard to put myself together on the next day. Somehow I managed to drag myself out of the bed and get under the sun for an hour. After a long exposure to the intense heat, I stared to have blur vision, very very blurry, which made Hawaii seems to be more darling.
Chean was totally freakout cause he never seen me this weak before, he said I was literally "float-walking". I know, others might thought I'm on something for sure, but I have no energy to give a damn. I kept "floating" on the streets and snapped some pictures. I can't remember what Chean said to me all the time while I was forcing myself to sightsee, but I remember he said something like E.N.O.U.G.H., you have to go to the clinic now! He got really angry, angry because he cares.
So we reached the 24 hours Urgent Care Clinic of Waikiki, a friendly doctor gave me an IV to replace the water that I've lost and two shots to stop the vomiting. It's not the air sickness that causes all these, it's the stomach flu.
I did feel a lot better after that but still feeling very weak. Guess that's the side effect of the medicine. Right now I can only opt for liquid diet which makes this whole trip sucks till the highest level! If my body works along with the medicine, I should be ok soon. I need to be ok A.S.A.P.
After hearing all the bad news from me, I've got another breaking news to share.
Chean is sick now!!! I passed the virus to him I think. Now you know how we make ourselves the best couple on earth, we take turns to get sick to ensure we can take care of each others. This is what we called team spirit.
Now we both miss home (both in M'sia & Portland) and Miyaki real bad. Hoping things will be okay soon, at least let me visit Pearl Harbor and Hanauma Bay before we left T____T
God, you hear me right? A.M.E.N.
P/s: We haven't get any chance to wet ourselves yet, damn upset!!!
