Just Another Day

As everyone already knew, Boulder is a fairly modest town, with limited entertainment options (unless you're a outdoor person who adores mountains and wildlife) as well as limited Asian restaurant choices. We have tried out about 70% of all the Asian restaurants in the town so far (hello, we only been here slight more than a month), and yet nothing stands out except Zoe Ma Ma, they have the yummiest Chinese Dumpling (Ba Zhang). I shall dedicated a blog post for Zoe Ma Ma in the near future, but right now, I'm just gonna show you how our typical evening looks like ;)

So a typical evening usually involves a simple & casual outfit which will allow me to pig out.

Cuddles and hugs with Miyaki before heading out to hunt for food.

Then we'll fill the whole evening with food, food and food! I'm a foodie, no doubt.

Since we are new to the town, our food hunting game plan is to pick a new restaurant every week, until we find a good one. Life is tough enough, we need awesome food to compensate our hard works, right? ;)

JAD_korean
Picked Korean House this week.

Game plan Hypothesis #1: A quiet restaurant during dinner time does not serve good food. Sigh, I was too hungry to move, so we decided to give this a chance.

JAD_sides
Complimentary appetizers tasted so so.

We both ordered super simple and popular Korean dishes due to the 2nd hypothesis we made...

JAD_chean
Bibimbap.

And Soon Tubu Jjigae (Spicy Korean Tofu Stew).

Game plan hypothesis #2: If an Asian restaurant can't even make its popular & simple dishes right, the restaurant is completely avoidable. Well, imagine you go to a mamak and the pak cik (uncle in Malays) can't even make the roti kosong right, what can you say further about that mamak? Same theory applies here.

G.O.S.H! These two dishes tasted below average man, I was super starving that time yet these can't satisfy my taste buds at all! Sigh, huge disappointment. If you follow my tweets that day, you knew that I ended up buying a big bag of onion rings at the A&W next door T__________T

Simultaneously, the whole dinning experience proved our hypotheses are totally correct. Anyway, this Korea House still worth 2 stars out of five, one star for the friendly customer service, another star for the cleanliness @.@ I don't know lah, just super mean to rate it one star, I'm very kind one ;) Ok, now praying that we will soon find a great Korean restaurant in Boulder.

Till next people, love you for reading. Remember to stay tuned for surprises, I grant you~~

Regards,
Bev
