Yeah, 10 days to X'mas and everyone is busy with the annual holiday rituals--shopping, gift-wrapping & prepping to look the best for the holidays! While all the social butterflies, party queens and divas are constantly adding layers and layers of glitters on the eyelids to wow the crowds on every parties they attend, I plan to focus on something else--The Christmas Eve Aftermath.
It's 9 a.m. in the morning on Christmas day and your whole families are waiting for you to join them at the church, or a Christmas breakfast, or whatever customs or traditions your family have, but all you could think of is to recover from a severe hangover, don't even mention about grooming up. With the "leftover" makeup that you're still wearing from yesterday, ya, the dramatic & extremely shimmery eye makeup that turned you into a Kardashian, your skin is now begging for a mini retreat. Hence, minimalist comes in handy finally.

1) GEO - HC246 Grang Grang Choco
2) Etude House Glittering Sherbet Eyes - Pearl Luster
3) AP AU - Xtra Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner
4) YANQINA - Liquid Eyeliner
5) Kawayii Eyelash - Secret
** I mistakenly placed YANQINA liquid eyeliner into the Ap Au's packaging, sorry for the confusion caused **
#2 Always prep the eye areas with eyecream, following by foundation. I usually use eyeshadow primer too but not this time.
Step 1: Apply Etude House Glittering Sherbet Eyes over your lids and into your crease.
Step 2: Gently & lightly smooth the edge with a smudge brush.

Step 3: Use YANQINA Liquid Eyeliner to trace the top lashline. Keep it thin, precise & clean. Natural is the key.
Step 4: Trace the lower lashline too, line from outer corner to middle. Then slightly smudge it to make your eyes appear bigger.

Step 5: Highlight tear ducts with AP AU Xtra Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner.

Step 6: Complete the look with Kawayii falsies. I do not apply mascara or lower falsie as I anticipate a super hectic schedule on Christmas day, with tonnes of cooking especially.

Ohhh Yeahhh... Was aiming to steal Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's style while working on this tutorial, not sure if I succeeded but it really is a good try. Deeply adore her simple elegant style, and love all her perfectly tailored outfits too, such an icon! And hey, who doesn't want to look like Kate Middleton on Christmas day, even after a miserable hangover? :p
