S.T.O.R.Y.T.I.M.E

Not sure about how others handle their babies down time but I really can't think of any fun way to kill time with Bao Bao. She's getting more alert & stays awake longer during the day now. Honestly, I think I've catered a pretty fun-packed schedule for her--I sing, play, read, act, dance, and also let her enjoy a 5-10 mins self playtime when she loses interest in whatever activities that I engage her with. Still, she sometimes gives me a curious look as if she's saying: "Mama, what's next?"

Ok, Mama gonna bring you to story time session!!!

#6 Well, a baby is still a baby; Bao Bao has very short attention span still, hehe. She found another story to entertain herself though.

ST_7
#7 Loves running her fingers over a plethora of children books, racks after racks, shelves after shelves; it's like her dream playground comes true~~

ST_8
#8 "Which one, Mama? Which one?"

ST_9
#9 "Wait, I haven't seen enough!!!"

ST_13 #10 Nah, here you go~~ I picked a picture book that's suitable for her age...

ST_12
#11 and super glad that she appreciates Mama Bev's choice :)

ST_10
#12 This book kept her well entertained for 15 mins! And she adores the little plastic fishes at the top, which can be used as a simple abacus that helps her learn numbers~~

#13 The restaurant was real busy that day and we're so happy that Chloe sat still in her car seat while having fun with her new book! Y.A.Y!!!

Highly recommend Dr. Seuss collection! I've added about 10 books to BB's mini library and even myself find them interesting to read~~ What story books are the must-haves to you Mamas? Would love to hear from you too!

Best,
Mama Bev
