V-day Moment
Updates:
Chean came home with a bouquet of roses & baby's breath, he finally bought me flowers on V-day after 10 years. Nothing is too late I guess :p
My first attempt ever, making kawaii bento box for Chean this morning. Phew, it's such a relief to know that everything works out according to plan. And thank god, I do not cut myself, spoil the ingredients, burn the kitchen nor experience anything unexpected this time.
Maybe due to some bad experiences, I feel super stressed out when it comes to cooking, it's like phobia you know. Years ago, I think when I was 18 or younger, I accidentally set my M'sia home's kitchen on fire twice, and before that I also established quite a reputation by ruining my mum's favorite oven @.@ Ever since then I was banned from entering kitchen, don't even mention about cooking. Hey, don't laugh at me, I'm sure I'm not the only one out there.
But look at me now... Auguste Gusteau (Remy's idol, don't tell me you didn't watch Ratatouille?) is right, anyone can cook!
#1 Bought the bento box & accessories from Daiso (Vancouver, Canada) couple years ago, and they finally come in handy.
#2 Lot's of Vitamin C~~
#3 A sheep resting in a ranch, together with two cheerful quail eggs! La la la~~
#4 Mini omelet with hotdog & ham.
#5 Kawaii or not? I woke up at 7.30am to start preparing for this.
Chean could not bear to nom the laughing quail eggs, too cute he says, so funny. And I'm elated to see him checking out every detail in the bento box; he suddenly seems like a curious kid to me, unpacking a mysterious pressie, layer by layer. I guess it doesn't take much to put a smile on someone's face, just a little bit of love and effort (*^___^*)
Happy Valentine's Day again everyone. Have an exciting & unforgettable one ❤❤
Kisses,
Bev
