Taiwan 2011 - Shilin Night Market
#1 Your comments count! Thank you all, muaksss~~
Hope this post won't make you craving for supper. If you are hungry now, don't scroll. I'm super duper S.E.R.I.O.U.S.
#2 Welcome to Shilin Night Market, the most famous night market in Taipei.
#3 Stinky tofu aka fermented tofu is one of Chean's favorite snacks. 难道是因为臭味相投?
#4 Stinky tofu is super notorious, just like durian, you either hate it or like it. It smells real bad, but when you actually eat it, it tastes real great. Hmm... really hard to explain, all you need to do is man up and be brave to take the first bite!
#5 Taiwanese Pork Sausage (台湾香肠)❤❤
#6
#7
#8 Tiny Taiwanese Pork Sausage! So cute~~
#9 I ate six of those... Slurpsss~~
#10 Corn dogs dressed in different styles and flavors.
#11 Fattening yet real salivating @.@
#12 Fried milk balls. Tasted just okay though, not too impressive.
#13 W.O.A~~
#14 Curry fish balls.
#15
#16
#17 Grill, baby, grill.
#18 OMG!!! I can eat 10 of this! So good, super good. Jeez.
#19 Is this stall famous? It seemed like it. Super long Q and that's the best shot I could get.
#20
#21 Cheesilicious~~
#22 Sis got me Taiwanese Black Pepper Biscuit.
#23 BBQ time!!!
#24 Ok, this is super hilarious.
I thought that one, neh, the one with the arrow pointed at it was actually BBQ chicken chopped into pieces because the seller told me it's called 七里香. What a great name right? But as soon as I nommed, I noticed those were actually chicken butts!!! Dang it @.@ Not just one but F.I.V.E chicken butts. Super puke-inducing can, I almost vomit. Dear hawker sellers, please, chicken butt is not edible and it should be banned.
#25 Comforted myself with one of the popular dishes in Taiwan, oyster omelet (蚵仔煎) at last.
Oh no, my stomach is growling! Shouldn't have blogged about this at night. Roti Canai satu bang...
Thanks for reading. Supper time, I'll talk to you all soon~~
Hungry bird,
Bev
