Mimic Elva Hsiao
(Click H.E.R.E if the words - Elva Hsiao are pondering you)
Disclaimer: I'm not saying I look like Elva Hsiao (not even a bit), nor intending to look like her. In fact, Elva Hsiao is way too beautiful, gorgeous and perfect to be mimicked. I'm not a big fan of Elva, but I admire her talents, her voice, her unique personality and her genuineness. In fact, many of my best friends are big fans of Elva, never ever intend to ruin her image k. I chose her because she's just super inspirational and I adore her eye makeup a lot, don't kill me, Elva's fans!
So why am I risking my life doing this then? I'd say 60% is for fun, 10% is for boosting BS readership and 30% is for making you drool over these heavily makeup and massively retouched photos.
Of course, I do not look like Elva and never can look like her even if I spend 24 hours photoshopping my face.
But hey, together with the smaller cheek bone, adjusted eyebrows, twisted nose, thinner upper lips, skinner body, extensive makeup and my awesome photoshop skill (although Chean still categorizes me as a PS beginner), I can always look prettier than myself if I wanted to (in my point of view).
However, I choose to be true to myself instead. A little twist of makeup and photoshop are tolerable, but I'm just not one of those retouching freak who loves seeing their photos being heavily photoshoped.
The very-close-to-original pics. Retouched the scar on my forehead and a pimple scar near my nose.
Please bear in mind that I was wearing a lot of makeup and I did contour and conceal my face intensively when these pics were taken, well, the title of this posting is mimicking Elva Hsiao though; I need to at least get some works done in order to imitate her.
But I really don't mind to make BS less attractive by uploading my very-close-to-original and unretouched photos as long as I'm true to myself and my ethical stance. Perhaps some of you may think this is such a hypocritical posting cause I love makeup and makeup equals to lies. Makeup or no makeup, this is a personal choice; we all have our very own standards in measuring things in our lives after all. I respect your choice, and I hope you respect mine too.
Love life, love yourself.
Kiss & Hug,
Bev
