I ❤ DIY
Perhaps some of you, especially those who never make an effort to understand me would label me as a materialistic or superficial person (if that's the case, I highly recommend you to read T.H.I.S before scrolling down this page), but I am not, I just love investing on classic and high quality goods that could last me more than a lifetime, and well, either you agree or not, classic and high quality goods usually imply high cost too.
Anyway, I'm not going to coax you into buying my idea because I am a bargain lover and a bargain hunter too! That's the equilibrium. I do agree that if you're lucky enough or if you're patient enough, you could definitely find good deals at an affordable price that help you score big savings; if you are talented or creative enough, you can even Do It Yourself!
For example, an American Apparel twist scarf that's priced at US$14 (approximately RM 44)...
I DIY it at US$5, woo hoo~~ *\^__^/*
Why Winne The Pooh? Hehe... I was deeply in love with him for about 6 years before Hello Kitty crossed the line :p I own a lot of Pooh stuffed toys and they are still precious to me. So, I thought to give Pooh a full credit this time for being such an awesome companion throughout my high school years (yeah, childish I know, bleh).
** Heart my red polka nails? Go DIY your nails now~~
The DIY twist is so versatile, now ready for the stewardess/OL look!!!
And yup, I handmade it and it only took me 30 mins :D I wish I could show you the whole making process but my sewing skill sucks to the max! Too embarrass to show lah, hope you get the idea, just fabric and wire :p
And yup, I love DIY! Not only because it helps me save my hard-earned money but also is my hobby since I was 9, not exaggerating though, I made loads of clothes and accessories for my Barbie k :p
Have fun and have an awesome day ahead!
Busy DIY-ing on the next project,
Bev
