Non-drinkable Cafe Latte

I can't stop giggling every time when I look at the word "L.A.T.T.E" now, it's all Chean's fault. He made up a super lame joke the other day before dropping me to get my fave Starbucks drink, Green Tea Frap. Anyway, not gonna share the joke here because it's pretty disgusting and well, it's too L.A.M.E. We should focus on more elegant topic instead. What about another makeup tutorial then? ;)

I bought Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow lately and quickly fall in love with it! If you are one of them who ever asked me about my Coastal Scent 88 warm palette before, let me be honest to you, forget about the 88 warm palette from now on and get Rimmel instead!

This one, Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow in Cafe Latte.

Alright, before getting into the eyeshadow thingie, let's begin with the very fundamental step - foundation.

foundation
(From left to right)
Legere BB Cream, Clinique City Block Sunscreen & Chanel stick concealer.

Do you know the particular sequence? Always begin with your moisturizer, then sunscreen lotion, then BB cream (or you can simply avoid sunscreen lotion if your BB cream's SPF is high enough to protect your skin from UVA & UVB). Concealer always comes after liquid foundation & BB cream.

So suppose you have applied all these on your face, now you need a very good loose powder to set your foundation, to make your face appears less greasy & oily and to give you a sheer finish.

I chose to use the free samples I got from Everyday Mineral this time. Free stuffs is always awesome, but all the free samples sit in tiny containers that are not even allow your brushes to dip in; and sometimes the colors we ordered do not match our skin color at all. How to use it then?

Come, read closely. I have a solution for you ;)

latte_loosepowder
1) Everyday Mineral - Golden Fair
2) Everyday Mineral - Ivory
3) Empty container
4) Brush from Bodyshop

Now focus on the empty container. As you can see, it's actually a container for Maybelline finishing powder. I finished it (finally), sanitized the container and keep it for other usages, like this one.

Everydaymineral
Golden Fair and Ivory are the only two colors closer to my skin tone, I pour them into the empty container and mix them well. Taa Daa~~ Now you have a customized loose powder :D

** Everyday Mineral is supposed to be used as a powder foundation, but I use it as loose powder too, sometimes. Use Kabuki brush instead of blusher brush if you want to use it as powder foundation.

Once your foundation is set, start working from eyebrows to lips, yup, from up to down.

eyebrows
Apply the warmest shade to define your eyebrows, do it incrementally, don't rush. Then apply the lightest shade to highlight your brow bones, this helps to define the eyes as well as open them up.

eyeshadow
Apply the second lightest shade (champagne color) thoroughly over the crease of each eyelid as the base color. After that, dust the darkest shade over the C.E.N.T.E.R of your eyes in order to make them appear rounder, bigger and brighter.

eyeliner
Try to opt for a thicker line this time. I'm using Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner here.

** You may notice the crease areas which I applied the darkest shade are pretty uneven. That's because both of my eyes are in different sizes, one's bigger and another one's slightly smaller. I often fix the differences with eyeshadows & eyeliner ;)

lowelashline
Dust the second warmest color under your lower lash lines, apply it as a eyeliner.

falsies&mascara
Cut falsies into half and apply them on the outer corner. Curl your lashes carefully and then apply mascara on both upper and lower lashes.

lipstick&gloss
Choose a softer and lighter lipstick, nude & light pink are the best. Remember to apply lip gloss to make your lips super kissable ^^

Have you noticed yet? I've dyed my hair to super dark brown. That's the second surprise I wanted to share with you all! I'm just super bored with light hair color, also tired of dying the roots every two months, hehe, gonna stick with darker color for awhile before I changed it again :p

Remember? I adore changes, a very typical Aquarius characteristic. Hope you enjoy this tutorial and have fun making yourself prettier ❤❤

With love,
