Metamorphosis
Advertorial
Ok, I'm not here to discuss about the biological process, in fact, "The Metamorphosis" is a classical novella written by Franz Kafka (3 July 1883–3 June 1924), one of the most influential novelists of the 20th century. I love literature (western and eastern), Shakespeare and Kong Fuzi are my languages although I've very limited knowledge about the uses of "thou" and "thee". And just recently, I'm learning to speak few new words that sound something like Franz Kafka *\(^o^)/*
Unfortunately, I'm more like a hand-on learner, by saying that I mean I learn faster by seeing and doing. You know, this master piece was first published in 1915, way way way before I was born and reading a classical literature is totally different than flipping In-Touch or US Magazine for latest Hollywood news at the beach. You need to understand the synopsis first, and then slowly examine the plot layer by layer. Time consuming task with plain hard work.
Way too complicated for working adults and for students who already suffered enough right? I got something for you, something that is intelligently stimulating yet entertaining.
Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Centre (KLPAC) is bringing back Franz Kafka's master piece-Metamorphosis live to you this August 19-21! Mark your calendar and bring good friends to watch this groundbreaking performance. One secret to share, Chean and my best friend is the performer for this show too. Before this, he's also one of the performers for The Village (宝岛一村) which directed by Asiaʼs Top Theater Director Stan Lai (赖声川导演).
Click H.E.R.E for more info. Anyhow, you just have to watch Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis (on my behalf, please). Go book your tickets and support local theater performance now ❤❤
Alright, I know you want more. Here are some pictures I dedicated for KLPAC Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis team...
Sending my very best wishes across the North Pacific Ocean (or North Atlantic Ocean, depends on which route you choose) and all the way from the States.
Best of luck, Soo Ming!!! Support you to the max ❤❤
p/s: Well, my pictures above are not irrelevantly unrelated to this post though, it's metamorphosis, and butterfly is the first thing that came across my mind when I think of that word.
With loads of love,
Bev
