Let's the parties begin!
I mean, farewell parties. Yup, Chean & I are leaving Portland in another 10 days. Don't be too surprise, we have been planning for this for quite awhile but I don't want to tell a word on my blog before we sorted out the next journey in our lives. Of course, my family and all my close friends know about this before anyone else.
So ya, the farewell parties are for us. We already had three so far, the official one was on last night (Kick my ass, I didn't take any pictures at all, Chean & I were too busy entertaining our guests). Since most of our good friends here have packed schedule like me, I'll meet them either for breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner or supper separately. I don't care about another 10 pounds lah, just wish to meet them again and give them a big hug before we officially say goodbye to Portland.
This one was on last Tuesday, I invited our neighbors over for a simple dinner.
Remember one of my tweets sounded like:
Thank you for all the encouraging words! That raised my spirit!!! Here are what I prepared that night~~
Stir fried veggie with dried tofu.
M'sian style curry chicken.
Chinese stuffed tofu (a.k.a niang4 tofu loh).
Orange flavored pork ribs.
I also made steamed egg that day but forgot to snap a picture of it, not only that, I even forgot to take picturessssss with my guests of the night too. Sigh, blame the two champagnes our neighbors got for us, I was pretty tipsy after swallowing 2 big glasses. I'm just a lame drinker and an irresponsible blogger @.@
So I tweeted again, on the same night, after noticing I don't have any pictures taken with my guests at all.
At least I'm not the only one who can't drink, I'm feeling a lot better :p
Then on the same week, we went out for Dim Sum with another two friends at Wong King Restaurant.
** There are certain times when I won't put on the "blogger at work" tag and go snap pictures of all the dishes unstoppably. This is one of them. I think it's kinda rude to do that while you're having meal with elderly friends, I want to spend quality time with them instead, you know, to show respect ;)
Thank you Marion & Henry for the treat, I like the "xiao long bao" the best!
And this is for all of you, another picture to add on my lookbook collection. Thank you for clicking my blog even though I wasn't around...
I'll be back for more updates and news about the city I'll move to in the next 10 days. Stay tuned for more beverlicious secrets ❤❤
Love,
Bev
