I ❤ NY - Part I (Times Square & Subway)

Travel to NY from Portland requires a 6-hours flight and 3 hours jet lag, all the way from west to east.

Sipping my daily dose of caffeine at Portland airport. It was 6a.m. and I was literally sleepwalking.

They said, if you're lucky, you'll see three breathtaking snowy mountains while flying to the east. Chean saw them all while I was at sleep (but this picture only shows one :p). Needless to say, a lucky day was granted :D

Hello Jersey~~ I guess.

The awesome golf court I saw while landing at JFK (one of NY airports).

On the yellow cab, was heading to hotel.

Upon check-in.

I stayed at Time Hotel in Time Square, just right across Chicago Theatre Building. How A.W.E.S.O.M.E!
But we didn't get to watch any Broadway shows; we didn't have that luxury of time to do what typical tourists would do. Anyway, we used to live in NY and watched many many broadway shows before; this trip is solely for shopping and foods. That's all I wanted to do ;)

Room 901.

Not spacious, and not even luxurious although this room cost us few hundred dollars per night.

But it's located at Times Square, and it's NY. I can live with that ^_________^

Times Square is all about neon lights, billboards, advertisements and crowds!!!

The sleepless city and me (I looked pretty sleepless too @.@).

SATC 2 movie billboards are everywhere.

Policemen here ride on horses, same as Portland. Don't ask cause I don't understand why either. But it's beyond cool to look at!

Uploaded this pic simply because I looked skinny in that. Haha :p

Take you to the subway now.

NY subway is as convenient as Hong Kong MTR. Who needs a car?

Busy walkway in the subway station.

New Yorkers are always on the run. I can live with that too ;)

We were going to hunt for foodsssss :D

The train is here!!!

Chean on the train.

It's me!!! (FYI, I have no idea why those passengers next to me looks to desperate, perhaps it was late and they were tired, you tell me.)

Hopped on another transit train.

Vain and stupid, I know. But it's NY, who cares? By the way, my hair is getting longer! Y.A.Y!!!
I'll bring some famous NY foods over for the next post. It's going to extra-yummylicious and beyond fabulous.
Tell me you love NY too ❤❤
Love,
Bev and the city
