Fish It My Way
I don't like cooking but I hate eating out M.O.R.E! I get bored of eating the same thing at the same restaurant again and again.
I'm pretty predictable when it comes to dinning in Portland, it could be either at one of my fave restaurants in town (Chai Yo for instance, I know you've heard it a zillion times) or simply at my fancy condo ^_____^ What? Hard sell a bit can...
Who wants Beverly's Cuisine?
Ahemm... I'll be the cooking mama to share my newly invented secret recipe for the most common Chinese cuisine: Steamed Fish.
The ingredients.
1) Garlic
2) Ginger
3) Tomato
4) Hot pepper
5) Spring onion
6) Fish fillet (Tilapia or Cod fish)
Seasoning:
1) Oyster sauce
2) Light soy sauce
3) dash of pepper and sesame oil
4) Shaoxing wine
Place the fish fillet in a bowl, then add in spring onion and hot pepper.
L.U.R.V.E to steam everything with this Korean bowl cause it keeps the food warm until very last bite!
You should be able to find this in any Korean market selling around US$5 ❤❤
Miyaki's showing his pity look again! He does it every time I cook @.@
So, heat up 1-2 tbsp oil in the wok and saute garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add in tomatoes and water (1/3 to half bowl will do).
Season and stir-fry at high heat until well-mixed. Miyaki, excuse me!!!
Pour all the well-mixed ingredients over fish fillet...
and bring to steam for about 20 mins.
Taa Daa~~
Add in 1 tbsp Shaoxing Wine before serving~~
The fish texture melts my heart away. L.U.R.V.E the broth too~~
Bon Appetit ❤❤
P/S: I haven't finished composing Beverly's Voice yet, yup, excessive assignment load hits me again! Come back again tomorrow :D
