New York's Time

Hellooooo... Everybody!!!

I love all the bloggers, seriously. And proud to be one of them too~~
Can't love you enough and thank you enough for all the touching and lovely comments.

No worries, Beverly is Back ;)

Before continued to share my happy times in New York City (read THIS to know more), I would sadly take this opportunity to express my heartfelt condolences to Michael Jackson's families, friends and fans around the world.

This is the greatest lost. Too shock to be true :(

Life is really unpredictable, and sometimes fate is out of your hands. However, we still have the authority to create sweet memories right here, right now, before things go out of order.

My task (aka mission) here is to spread the happiness to you, as what I always do. Speaking of happiness, there's one thing that always make me smile, it's called FOODS.

In NY, yummy foods can be found in any corners. On our trip, Chean and I greedily tried as many dishes as we can!!!

Check out the room service at Soho Grand Hotel. They have the "bestest" hotel foods ever.

supper

calamari
Calamari~~

salmon
Grilled Salmon. Two thumbs up! Love its fruity fresh flavor~~

chocolatecake
Warm Chocolate Cake with ice cream.

chocolatecake2
One word, one expression -> MMmmm...

I can hardly describe how yummilicious it taste! Feed yourself a spoonful of warm chocolate follow by another spoonful of vanilla ice cream, what else can you say other than MMmmm...

The next day, Chean and I had more foods in NY!

mechankoentrance
Japanese cuisine, Menchanko ;)

mechanko5
Sometimes, it's kinda packed and crowded inside the restaurant. But it always creates a comfy feel.

mechanko3
Ohhh... I miss it so much!

mechanko4
Chean's order.

mechanko1
Mine~~

I know what you are going to say, those look like what you can find in K.L. right? Noop. They tasted completely different!

After Menchanko, we moved on to St. Marks for supper! Hooray~~

stmark
St. Marks is kinda like a Japan Town in NY.

stmarks2
This area is also full of punk culture.

sakehouse1
Forgive me, I can't read Japanese language, I think I better called this place Sake House in order to avoid confusion.

sakehouse5
Waiting for our turn...

sakehouse4
Not to forget some "glamor" shots too :p

sakehouse2
Don't play play. This place is really popular.

sakehouse3
We both love the unspeakable uniqueness of this Sake House. I felt like I was actually in Japan (though I've never been to), it's very convincing, at least to me.

sakehouse6
Finally, time to order!

Frankly speaking, Chean and I are extremely fulled after Menchanko. Therefore we only order SAKE (our all time fave) and a side dish. Who cares about weight? It's NY.

sakehouse+chean
Chean's posting with the sake of my choice! Forget what it called, but it's only available in the Spring season ;)

fish
The fishy fish tasted below standard, but it's ok.

powder
After dinning, I saw everyone was given some kind of "pink powder".

I figured out what was that as soon as I stepped out the restaurant.

cottoncandy
It's Cotton Candy Powder! How cool~~ We do it ourselves with the machine!

Lastly, the ultimate carving for the night has to be the famous Pommes Frites in town.

frites2
If you ever have a chance to stop by or visit St. Marks, Pommes Frites is a must-try!

frites
Do not look down to this tiny place, it hides the tastiest fries on earth.

frites3
Faster Chean, I can't wait to bite on them (though I'm sleepy after taking sake)!

fries
1) Super Yummy Mango sauce (US$ 1 to 1.50 if not mistaken)
2) Mayonnaise (complimentary)

Ohhh myyy...
Look at those foods, look at the fries, look at the salmon...

What a life. What can I ask for more?

P/S: For those who's wondering where am I exactly, I'm actually staying in Seremban, Malaysia all this time, for temporary. I'll back to U.S. in this September. Serembanians, shall we meet?
