Simple Joys in Full Moon
My first and ever Mid Autumn Festival celebration in US was simple yet overjoyed. If you really pay attention on my blog, you will have zero problem to figure out the person who make all these happened. Wrong, it's not my hubby this time. Of course my hubby did make little effort but it was nothing compare with this special friend's contribution. I'm talking about...
This one!!! Nelson made "mee sua" for us! All from his grandma's secret recipe.
SEE AGAIN!! Isn't it mouthwatering?
Wipe your mouth. I got your million dollars question. How "mee sua" related to mooncake festival? Ok, apparently Nelson invited us to his house for dinner yesterday. I was unintentionally to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival since I barely recall the exact day of this tradition celebration. However, I saw a sign of joy as soon as I stepped into Nelson's house.
He bought mooncakes! How thoughtful~~
Yup, we have mooncakes in US too. No high expectation, ok? My answer is "mee sua" tasted better.
After dinner, three of us had a very looooong walk along the waterfront.
It turned out as a very relax, pleasant and wonderful time.
Thank you for everything, Nelson. He is our iron chef of the night :)
P/S: Sorry if I forgot to wish you Happy Mid Autumn Festival! Here you go, Happy Mooncake Festival :D
