Just For CNY

GONG XI FATT CAI

(No Ang Pao from me!! I’m not officially married yet!!)

This is my first year celebrating Chinese New Year (CNY) abroad and without my families & friends. I was lost for few weeks, to celebrate or not to celebrate, that’s the question. Finally, I snap out my doubt and pick up the CNY spirit. What can I say after all, I’m just so proud of myself.

deco
It is such a huge challenge for me to find all the decoration goods within low bargain. I bought 2 wrapping papers with Chinese wording and a pack of Ang Pao which cost Usd 10. Then, try to make all these into good use.

angpao
Front door. Six Ang Paos stand for six happiness.

bird
Computer screen. Birds represent my hubby and I.

tanglong
Room hallway. Spinning Tang Longs will promise us good fortune (I added an “Fook” character poster on the door yesterday).

window
pink corner
Windows & Pink corner. Rolling pattern doesn’t mean anything special for me. It’s just the easiest pattern to do.

foods
Snacks and tit-bits. Some are in pink, wanna bring it forward for Valentine’s Day. (wink)

I bet you have better decorations and food than me. But, this is the best I can give in foreign country.

Once again...
CNY
Happy Chinese New Year!!

Especially to my mum, bro & sis. Really can’t tell how much I miss being with you guys. Mum, I want your new year dishes!!!

And also, to all my supportive friends. Rrrghh, gathering without me must be boring! Hahaha…

Last but not least, to You who reading this!!

Wishing everyone a fortune and prosperous year ahead.
